• How to Win Friends and Influence People
• How to Develop Self-confidence and Influence People by Public Speaking

Well, I started to read them the other day, after only 36 years, and realised my life would have turned out very differently if I'd read them when I bought them! What started me reading them was that I attended an evening meeting that's all about the "Dale Carnegie" course, Effective Communications & Human Relations. I was impressed, and I'm going to sign up. It's being run in the new year, in 12 weekly sessions. You'll notice that it's not cheap, but if we can get 10 of us to do it together, the price comes down significantly.
